Have you ever gone cross eyed? See if you can 'free view' these stereo pairs. The first pair needs your eyes to be crossed and the second pair need your eyes relaxed. By the way, there are other ways to see depth in flat pictures ...

and your left eye needs
to see this image.



Cross eyed is one of the names that describe the method used to view this stereo image.
As you can imagine, not every one can cross their eyes.
The other method, sometimes called Wall eyed, is where you relax your eyes, as if they were looking at something a very long way away.
The two images below are just reversed.
So ... the left eye looks at the left image and the right eye looks at the right image.
It helps if you sit further away from the screen when viewing "Wall eyed".
